Lynette Q&A
I am a qualified graduate in the field of Science, with a double major study done in Zoology & Botany. Due to my passion in animals, I further pursued additional courses in Animal
Behavior, and Physiology. Apart from the above, I have also studied Cancer Biology, Nervous Disorders, Dye extraction as an additional course apart from my curriculum.
I started off heading the Veterinary division for Swati Spentose, where I had to start everything from scratch, learn and evaluate the market. Product management- Introduce new products to our vet portfolio, brief end customers/veterinarians of our product leading to sales.
Although I still am a part of the Veterinary division, have also progressed further to International Business development and Marketing. This involves promoting the entire SSPL portfolio to customers, strategizing our approach, maintaining a good rapport with customers, and understanding the market requirements.
My journey at SSPL has been a chain of growth, both in my professional and personal life. This learning began once I implemented a few of the ”P” words in my daily affairs. These “P’s” being Persuasive, Patient, Prudent, Prompt, and Productive. In time I learnt how to overcome most of my negatives and to take criticism more positively.
As an individual I believe, each one has the ability to grow if they have the self-intention to do so.
In our day to day experiences we tend to learn a lot through both our subordinates-seniors, clients-competitors as each individual have characteristics of their own.
Believe in yourself no matter what others think of you. There will be times when people try to put you down, however this should not stop you from doing what you wish to do.
Self-Respect is most important, cause if you do not respect your own self, others will never do so. Have self-integrity and self-confidence in everything you do. Last and not the least learn to share knowledge as it does not cost you any money, it only helps you to grow as a person.
Neelam Q&A
I am a qualified pharmacist, having done by bachelor’s in pharmacy. Additionally have also done an internship in a retail pharmacy & in pharmaceutical manufacturing unit.
Have started with a formulation development project initially after joining this company, later got an opportunity to handle regulatory filing for DCGI application and dossier preparation for registration of finished products in different markets. Currently I am handling human finished dosages for international market.
I have got opportunity to work in different segments during this last 4 and half years in SSPL, but it has been overall great experience, which helped me grow not only in my professional life but also as an individual.
You should always speak for yourself, if don’t speak up, you won’t go anywhere, and no one will see your vision including yourself, so it’s very very importance to raise your voice and speak for yourself. An individual can also bring a change but someone need to take a lead & you can be that lead.
Ankita Q&A
SSPL’s has provided me a platform wherein in I got an opportunity to learn and work in different fields as a result enhancing my overall personality. I was told to travel South American countries like Brazil and Argentina , meet customers understand what they need and resolve their issues and convert them as our main business partners/customers. Now they are giving me 80 % of the business. I have learnt here that every problem is an opportunity if taken head on and faced with courage and perseverance.
I would like to inform all the women is that all of us have some attributes and quality, which unless identified and put to right execution is of no use. Be focused and hardworking, success is sure to follow you not immediately but gradually. All I would say, SSPL has helped me become a very fine individual and polished my skills manifold.
